First time I've been here and not disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere and immediately feel at home and comfortable. There's a huge choice with the classic favourites as well as some delicious in house specialities. A very nice evening and the food hit the spot.
With family on a Friday night and the place was rammed. The service, atmosphere, staff, quality of food and portion sizes was spot on. All in all a very nice meal in a nice place with great company.
It was a busy Saturday night and the staff were excellent, funny, polite, and helpful and the food was superb. The menu was varied with choices not usually found on a traditional menu. Highly recommend this restaurant - oh and great with children as well.
Had a lovely meal here tonight on a recommendation from a regular customer, everything was spot on. Superb meal and attentive but not pushy staff. Cannot fault it and will definitely be back.
Lovely atmosphere in a warm and amicable dining area. Greeted very warmly and offered a choice of places to sit which is very rare! Took advantage of the special which was poppadoms and pickle tray, any choice of main with either a naan or rice and either a soft drink, beer or wine which for £14.95 is a very good...
On a recent business trip to Derby we all enjoyed the excellent food and service in the Spice Lounge. I cannot recommend the curried cod enough. The waiters were very helpful when we were selecting our meals and helped us to make appropriate choices based on our tolerance to hot spices. I will be back!
